I organised for them to come beforehand to look at where they needed to do my replacement hot water cylinder as I wouldn't be at home on the day. They didn't bother to show up on two different days to do this. First time their … More excuse was they sent email to the wrong address to say they couldn't make it. And the second time they had no excuse at all and all their salesperson could say was they were really sorry. No phone call at either time to notify me that they weren't coming.
On the day of the booked job, one guy turns up and says he couldn't lift the cylinder into place by himself and he needed to talk to his boss. They did send another person to assist him but this could all have been foreseen in advance.
I had sent photos of the placement of the old cylinder and pointed out it needed to lifted about 1 m up when I got them to quote for the job so they could clearly see that. Or if they'd bothered to turn up the day before to look at the area as I had arranged with them then it would have also been apparent then.
They did get the job done in the end but I wouldn't use them again, it's just not worth the hassle.

They updated my old, small and leaking low pressure system to a new RHEEM ECOPLUS 300L hot water heat pump system. This including updating my mixers and some of the old piping. This was all done to a very high standard. The ECOPLUS system … More is more than double the size of my old system but uses significantly less power to heat more water. I have not run out of hot water once since upgrading. The heat pump heat exchanger is also very quiet and even standing next to it I can only tell it is on due to the cool air coming out of it. I had several options for the placement of both the tank and heat pump unit and after discussions with the great install team we decided that outside and close together would work best, giving me options to repurpose the cylinder space inside. Having had it for several months I am very impressed with the system.

When I did call on the following Tuesday your guy turned up on the Thursday as promised and three hours later had hot water. The plumber was also great.
